Dr. Alban Thomas is a Senior Researcher and Deputy Scientific Director for the environment at INRAE (French Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment). He graduated with a PhD in econometrics from the University of Toulouse in 1989.His current research topics include the analysis of environmental impacts of agriculture, water management and transitions towards global food security. He has supervised policy-oriented reports on these issues for many ministries and international institutions.
