Astronomer, Ph.D. at University of Padua (2006). He is currently working at the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate, Padua. His research interests include site testing and sky quality for building astronomical observatories; climatology and microclimate for cultural heritage; weather forecasts applied to fog monitoring; scatterometer winds for storm surge forecast. In the last years he is active in the field of climate change, in particular the recovery of long meteorological series.
