Emma is a predoctoral researcher at ISGlobal in environmental epidemiology. Her research focuses on water and food chemical contamination. Emma evaluates the human oral exposure to micro(nano)plastics, characterizes the principal determinants of exposure and investigates the associated health effects.

Emma obtained her Master’s degrees in France (2022), from an engineering school specialised in biotechnologies (Sup’Biotech) and from the MSc Ocean Science, Conservation & Innovation of Côte d’Azur University (France). During her Masters she created a model to assess the economic costs associated with methylmercury pollution in the Mediterranean.
