Tristan Berchoux is a lecturer in geography at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier (CIHEAM Montpellier, France) and researcher at the Joint Research Unit TETIS (Land, Environment, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information). He is also an active member of the Mediterranean research network on land (FonciMed).
His principal research interests lie in the field of spatial planning for sustainable rural development, through a land systems perspective. His work looks at the impact of climate change on landscapes and livelihoods under different policy scenarios using mixed methods (participatory approaches and quantitative spatial modelling).
