Mar Satorras is a postdoctoral researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies (IERMB), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and associate researcher of the Laboratory of Urban Transformation and Global Change (TURBA), IN3-Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She is an anthropologist and environmental scientist holding a MSc and PhD in Environmental Studies from UAB. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the social and political dimensions of urban sustainability challenges, with specific expertise on climate change and water and the combination of ethnographic, historical, and geographical approaches.
