Call for self-nominations of authors for the 1st MedECC Assessment Report (MAR1)

The call for self-nominations of Coordinating Lead Authors, and Lead Authors for the 1st MedECC Assessment Report (MAR1) on current state and risks of climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean is open now.

We invite self-nominations from experts from the full range of scientific, technical and socio-economic views and backgrounds linked with the Mediterranean. This call is not restricted to scientists who already joined MedECC. You are invited to share this call with anyone you like from your networks.

We particularly invite experts from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean to apply. It is very important that all the sub-regions/countries of the Mediterranean are represented among the MedECC report authors in a balanced way. Moreover, experts in economic, social and political sciences are encouraged to apply.

We have committed ourselves to produce the first draft of the report by the end of 2018 and to finalize the report before the end of 2019.

You are invited to have a look at this call for self-nominations and on the outline and to submit your candidature until June 20, 2018.
