Call for self-nominations of authors for the 1st MedECC Report: statistics

The call for self-nominations of Coordinating Lead Authors (CLAs), and Lead Authors (LAs) for the 1st MedECC Assessment Report (MAR1) on current state and risks of climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean has been released on May 31, 2018, with the deadline on 20 June 2018 (further extended to 22 June 2018). This call has been largely circulated in various scientific networks. MedECC invited self-nominations from experts from the full range of scientific, technical and socio-economic views and backgrounds linked with the Mediterranean.

Details of the call and the application form

MedECC received 161 self-nominations from 24 countries (39 % from women and 61 % from men).

The self-nominations are being reviewed.
