Dr. Ghribi holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Management with specialisation in GIS and remote sensing (University of Trieste, Italy). His academic background also includes a Master of Sciences in Environmental Management and Strategic Planning (Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh), Greece), a Specialized Post-University Diploma (D.S.P.U) in Environmental Management of Renewable Resources (MAICh, Greece) and a degree in Environmental Engineering from ESA Mateur (University of Tunis II, Tunisia).

He is the Director of International Cooperation at the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics - OGS where he is in charge of research promotion, internationalisation and fundraising Additionally, he serves as the Director of the International Advanced Master on Sustainable Blue Growth at the University of Trieste, Italy.
