Full Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya·BarcelonaTech, Spain), specializing in Coastal Morphodynamics, Risks and Management. With over 25 years of experience, over the past 10 years, most of his research has focused on coastal hazards; impact of climate change on coasts, and beach and coastal management. He has participated in more than 25 research projects and has published more than 100 articles in referenced international journals (h-index: 41 Scopus). Supervisor of 20 PhD theses. Awarded with the Distinction of the Gov of Catalonia for Promoting University Research for Young Researchers.
