Director of the Renewable Energy and Electricity Division at the Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie (OME), a not-for-profit industry association of Mediterranean energy companies, and secretary of the OME’s Energy Transition Committee. She previously worked at the Energy Branch of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (DTIE) in Paris, and at Ambiente Italia, a leading environmental policy and analysis institute in Italy. She was consultant for private and public organizations, and lecturer at several university programmes.
She has implemented >50 projects on renewable energy, climate change, sustainable consumption and production, resource efficiency. She was a contributor to the energy chapter of the 1st MedECC assessment report (MAR1) on climate and environment change in the Mediterranean region.
She has more than 20 years of international experience. An Environmental Economist, she received a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).
