Dr. Papadopoulou is Professor at National Technical University of Athens. Since 2017, she is Deputy Dean at the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, NTUA. In June 2020, she was appointed President of Board of Directors at Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency in Greece. Prof. Papadopoulou serves as a member of the National Water Council and the National Committee on Climate Change. Her principal research interests lie in the areas of subsurface water resources modeling and management, climate change adaptation, water footprint in agriculture, water-energy-food-climate Nexus, groundwater ecosystem services.
