Marie Pettenati is a senior hydrogeologist and geochemist modeler, and research scientific coordinator. She is an expert in geochemistry for the conceptualisation of reactive and transport models
for organic and inorganic contaminants in the unsaturated/saturated zone continuum of aquifers. She has been leader of several Work Packages (modelling, dissemination) for European projects (H2020, JPI WATER), managing multidisciplinary and international teams to develop decision-making tools for integrated water resource management for Managed Aquifer Recharge systems, Nature Based Solutions and Reuse as an adaptation solutions to climate change.
